We
bought Roanoak because of her very interesting pedigree. She has
really been a pleasant surprise, and we are very happy with her.
Her udder has some of the best attachments in the herd. From one
picture I have seen, it looks like Roanoak's udder is even an
improvement over Virginia's
in height and width of rear. Roanoak has at least one daughter
with a very nice udder.
Roanoak
earned her AR this year at 8 years old on butterfat; she is a
small doe with capacity suitable for her size, but her components
are quite high.
Kidding
record (since we have owned her): 2006, triplets
by Giacomo; 2007, buck/doe
twins by Rio; 2008, buck/doe
twins by Lancelot, 2010, twin does by Hunk, 1 retained (see Theia)
