A character
to rival that of the Meg/Calliope line, and an absolutely stunning
udder. JoJo is a nearly perfect little gem (how appropriate.) I
am particularly happy about the balance of her udder viewed from
the side--along with that gorgeous high wide rear udder, it has
that lovely foreudder extension that is so often lacking in Nigerians.
In 2009, on her scond freshening, our linear appraiser commented
that her udder was very close to an E this time, and would probably
get there with one more freshening. JoJo got dried off early in
2009, inadvertently (don't ask) which was a disappointment because
she seemed set to earn her star on butterfat, though she might have
fallen a bit short on milk that first time on test. We expect her
to earn it easily this year. Meanwhile she is 2/3 of the way towards
her dual championship, having twice beaten out her somewhat more
celebrated herdmates Tiger's L'ily, Chiaroscuro, and Electra. She
may be little, but she is mighty.
